The Most Underrated Disney Channel Songs

Nobody can deny that Disney Channel has put out countless bops over the years. We all at some point have jammed out to Nobody's Perfect, Were All in This Together, or Burnin Up, but there some hidden gems out there that you may not have heard of. But today is the day you shall hear the songs that should have been classics but never had the chance. Enjoy!

Drive and Invisible by the Jonas brothers

These songs first aired on the Disney Channel show Jonas LA (different from Jonas, at least in my brain) and I have to say this album in total is pretty underrated in general because there are lots of hidden bops. I literally cannot not dance when I hear drive, my dream is just to speed down a highway in a convertible with the Jonas Brothers while this song is blasting through the speakers, and invisible, bro I feel so dramatic when jamming to this song like I need to kick over a trash can and have a fan blowing in my hair

Barefoot Cinderella and Que Sera by Hannah Montana

Now nobody can deny that Hannah Montana put out countless bops, but most of her last album got lost in history because, let's face it, Hannah Montana Forever was not as good as Hannah Montana it just got weird after they moved and we needed Oliver back to balance things out, but despite that the last season did give us these two incredible hits. Both of these songs though have *IMMACULATE* vibes.

Livin' on a high wire by Lemonade Mouth

Livin' on a High Wire + Extended Scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NC9HFUZYU0

Now you may have just read that name and gone what the hell is that I've never heard of that song, yea that's because IT ISNT EVEN IN THE MOVIE, but hear me out... it is on the soundtrack. That is because the song only appeared in an adorable extended scene clip and let me tell you this song GOES SO DAMN HARD!!!!!!!!! I swear just listen to this song and tell me you didn't jam out, I dare you, this song has definitely earned its place on the Lemonade Mouth soundtrack.

Tomorrow Starts Today from Andi Mack

Now yall really be sleeping on Andi Mack, I feel like a lot of people immediately disregard anything new from Disney Channel, and listen I get it you love the throwbacks, trust me, me too, but occasionally Disney Channel puts out a new show that shines like the old ones and Andi Mack is one of those. This show delivered the same heart that the old shows did in their own new modern way. Tomorrow Starts Today is the show's theme song, it's sung by Sabrina Carpenter, and it's such a fun light song that perfectly reflects the feeling of the show.

The Naked Mole Rap from Kim possible

We all really need to start talking about how much of a rap genius Ron Stoppable is. I kid you not I can rap this song word for word because it is absolute perfection. I feel like somewhere in history this song got lost but everyone needs to discover it again, come on guys let's make this the top song on 2021 (but do me a favor please listen to the original version not the one from the live-action movie, just trust me on this)

Girl Next Door from My Babysitter's a Vampire

First of all, let's give a round of applause to whoever chose this as the show's theme song because this song slaps so hard, like this seriously could have been a 10 single. Now let's talk about the show, this show really feels like a fever dream, like I just hazelly remember this show being on tv, but honestly go re watch it because it's on Netflix and it still is incredible.

Rush by Aly and AJ

Now I know you all know Potential Breakup Song by Ali and AJ but Rush is a hidden gem. It's such a hype yourself up, feel-good kinda song, like this is the kinda song you listen to while getting ready and knowing that you are amazing and nobody can change you.

Break This Down from Descendants 3

Honestly, if you've never watch descendants stop everything right now and go watch all of them. Some people say that the 3rd one is the worst one but honestly, I think the third is my fav, and this song rounds out the end of the movie so well and gets me dancing every time.

Cinderella by The Cheetah Girls

I never hear anyone talk about this song but this is such a girl-power anthem. Honestly, the cheetah girls never disappoint and Cinderella is no exception. Also, the cheetah girls' fashion... always on point, like the cheetah outfits in this video *chefs kiss*.

Cloud 9 from Cloud 9

Cloud 9 is another great example of people refusing to watch the new stuff from the Disney channel, but this movie is so great. CLoud 9 stars Luke Benward and Dove Cameron, who both also sing the song Cloud 9 together. Every time I hear this song or watch this movie I honestly wish I could snowboard because they make it look so cool (but I am way too uncoordinated for that.)

What a Girl is from Liv and Maddie

Now this song, THIS right here is THE feminist Anthem. This episode is probably my fav episode of Liv and Maddie because I love this song and the story so much. What a girl is, is everything you could wish for in a female empowerment song, and episode and music video just emphasize the point of the song. Claps to the writers of Liv and Maddie for this little gem.

Tell it Like it is and Figure it Out from The Lodge

If your from the US like I am (or pretty much anywhere outside the UK) your probably sitting there going what in the world is the Lodge, well the Lodge is a Disney Channel UK show, but now anyone with Disney+ can watch it regardless of whether or not you are in the UK. At first, I was a little skeptical of this show but by the end, I was hooked, and in my opinion, these are the two best songs in the show. So if you haven't I highly recommend you go watch the lodge, its got tons of fun music and Luke Newton (aka Colin from Bridgerton).

Welcome to Hollywood, Hey, and The In Crowd by Mitchell Musso

Ok if you ask me Mitchell Musso is probably one of Disney Channel's most underrated artists. We all know Mitchell Musso from Hannah Montana, but I feel like they didn't do that much to promote his music like he put out a banging album but I feel like nobody knows about it. So it's time we start giving Mitchell Musso the love he deserves.
