My Episode By Episode Review of Bridgerton

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Hopefully this article makes any sense :p

Episode 1

Well, I was told this show is very sexual but wow 8 minutes in and there was already nudity. My opinion on this episode is kinda weird and vague because I kept having to pause to do other things but altogether I am intrigued. This show seems like a Victorian Era Gossip Girl and I'm very excited for what that may bring. So far Colin Bridgerton is probably my fav but I know I am just being biased because he is played by Luke Newton who played my favorite character on the Disney show The Lodge, but I’m also really rooting for Penelope (especially for her to be with Colin), I also find Eloise really intriguing I think I’m going to grow to like her. Also, can we talk for a sec about the music in this show, for anyone who hasn't noticed the music is a fully orchestrated version of current pop songs and they are absolutely amazing. I hadn't heard anyone talking about that but then at one point in the show they walk into a ballroom and I'm like is this the world's fanciest version of Thank you next?

Episode 2

OMG cant Burbrook just leave her alone like bruh she isn't going to marry you, you are a creep.

I am currently still watching this episode but I'm pretty sure the queen just did cocaine and I didn't even know that cocaine existed in the Victorian Era.

Ok episode finished that goodness Burbrook is gone his mom was kidding herself thinking he was "perfect". Also like I know that Simon is over here like "I'll never marry, I'll never have an air" and like I get it he doesn't like his dad and wants to do exactly the opposite of what he wants and rid the world of his family line and all but bro we all know your gonna fall for her, we can all see in your eyes your falling. Oh and the Orchestrated version of Shawn Mendes' In my Blood... absolutely fire. Also, Marina, why do they have to be so mean to her, like don't lock her up that's rude.

Episode 3

On my theme of praising the music of this show Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Second, Marina deserves better I am praying that the man she loves comes back from Spain and whisks her away because these bitches really need to stop messing with her because she has done nothing wrong. Now let us take a moment to talk about Simon's description of "what happens at night," I was over here like damn sir cool down I need to go get some lunch it is mid day sir we cannot be doing this. Nobody can tell me that he doesn't love Daphne after the way her talks to her and looks at her, Simon your not fooling me, and let's be real that prince has like 3 brain cells like he was falling for that girl whose hair was braided up like a basket. Once they get to the ball we all know he is very jelly or he wouldn't have stormed out like that but honestly who can blame him she really was looking gorgeous, and when she dropped that fan I was like I see what you're doing there girl. Oh and as for my guess at who Lady Whistledown is, Eloise is really seeming suspicious over here but she also seems wayyyyyy too obvious.

Episode 4

Once again I am writing as I am watching, this episode starts out with the prince giving Daphne that gorgeous necklace, and I already have chills at the sight of her and Simon together like my hair is standing straight up. Also, important note, where is Colin I would like more of him, and Penelope too I want more of her. The next scene is one with the suitors checking out Marina and her smile is such a mood like I wouldn't smile at that man either he is creepy.

Post episode review Mariana I love you girl but Colin should be with Penelope. I honestly think Eloise likes Penelope and Penelope like Colin, and Colin likes Marina and Marina needs a baby daddy and this whole thing is gonna get messy. Between Daphne and Simon, guys I know this is the Victorian era and all but seriously a kiss is THIS big a deal, that someone needs to die like come on that seems a bit much. Also on that note, I don't think that there is any point at which a duel is necessary, apparently, in Victorian times people didn't add insult to injury they added injury to insult like these peeps did not fear death like they should have. Now let us wrap this up with the real tea, OMG she wants to marry him, will they get married, why can't he have kids, is it like physically he can't or is he more like I absolutely refuse to have a small being living in my home.

Episode 5

I'm almost done with Episode 5 but I don't understand they both are like we love each other, and we all know they want to get married why do they both look like someone just murdered their goldfish, also why was him taking that glove off of her so sexual, what? I just I'm kinda disturbed, and now Mariana is trying to entrap Colin into marriage, and trick him into thinking her kid is his, excuse me ma'am that is rude and Colin deserves much better. Ok, I'm now watching the scene where they are in the inn and I can tell things are about to get steamy but did they really not realize that the other was not in love with them? I'm not even there and it was pretty damn obvious to me. Oh Damn, that just got R-rated REAL fast.

Episode 6

Ok, we've just started this episode first thoughts, damn that castle is huge, and damn Antony really sucks, like I don't think Colin should marry Marina either but leave him alone bro he is in love let him make his own choices. Now I'm only ten minutes into this episode why is there already more really sexual glove removal. Whelp it's been about five seconds and now were R rated again, children close your eyes, but I gotta say this instrumental track of Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams slaps so hard. Man do these two ever wear clothes anymore. I was told this show is quite dirty but up until this episode I was like it's not THAT dirty, well now I know what they meant. Also, I love that the youngest Bridgerton is named Hyacinth that's such a frikin cool name. In this episode Simon and Daphne really like mentioning how much they can't have kids, but we all know her eggo is gonna get prego. Also, these two Featherington sisters are such obvious nods to Anastasia and Drizella from Cinderella it's not even funny. Omg Penelope is telling Colin Marina loves a different man. Colin is too sweet how dare she trick him like this he really loves her and she's just playing with his heart, girl you have to tell him that you have a bun in your oven and he aint the baker. O damn all the secrets are being revealed in this episode, Penelope found out about the forged letter (then Marina was a bitch to her for no reason) and now Daphne has figured out that Simon probably can have kids he just is choosing not to if you know what I mean... yikes. It's only been like a week and these two already have marital problems, that is an issue. Ok, wait IS PENELOPE LADY WHISTLEDOWN???? because Marina was a bitch and now her secret is out hmmmmmmnnnn very interesting.

Episode 7

Oh wow, Daphne and Simon aren't even talking to each other now, yikes. Poor Colin, he was in Love and I feel bad for him, he is such a sweet pea and he didn't deserve this. She literally tricked him into almost marrying her and all he wants to do now is go and make sure she is alright.

Episode 8

OMG, I JUST FINISHED THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!! SO IS PENELOPE WHISTLEDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I love how they never even said Daphne is pregnant and then bam baby like what and why do they have to start the baby's name with an A I didn't understand that part, but that episode was crazy and now I am very pumped for season 2. I still need Pen and Colin to get together, I also hope that Daphne and Simon stay in London because when they are not things get kinda boring. OMG IM SO EXCITED FOR SEASON 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are still so many questions, how did Penelope become Featherington, Is Marina gonna come back, (i hate Antony) but who is gonna be his vicountess, what is gonna happen when Eloise finds out Penelope is Whistledown???????
